I learned how to focus on the basic forms rather than the details. By squinting my eyes, I was able to see the general color and shape of what's depicted and it really helped me a lot. I found that I was focusing too much on the details even before I get into the basic shapes, but now I know how to approach drawing in a better way. These are just some of the images that I found in Google and I tried to break them down into basic shapes and colors :D
